Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost.
At the time of scheduling your first appointment, you were informed of your therapist’s session fee. The overall cost and length of treatment will depend on your goals and the frequency of sessions. Most clients experience meaningful progress within 8 to 10 sessions, though some may benefit from more or fewer, depending on their needs.
At your first appointment, your therapist will work with you to clarify your goals and help you estimate a general timeframe for treatment. Based on that, you can estimate your likely investment in therapy. If you would like a written Good Faith Estimate, simply ask your therapist or contact our Client Ambassadors at (949) 393-8662.
As Required by Law:
Under federal law, health care providers must offer a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges to individuals who are not using insurance.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- If you would like a Good Faith Estimate, you may request one before or at the time of scheduling. Once requested, your provider will give it to you in writing within the required time frame (at least 1 business day before the scheduled service).
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
If you have any questions, contact your therapist or our Client Ambassadors at (949) 393-8662.
